Fill a world in seconds
Fill a world in seconds — scatter a kit across an area, or paint it exactly where you want it.
Two tools
By the area, or by hand
Placing a hundred tufts of grass one at a time is nobody's idea of an afternoon. Scatter covers ground fast; paint gives you control where it counts.
Scatter across an area
Choose a disc or a rectangle, a density from sparse to packed, and fill it — up to a thousand instances at once.
Paint exactly where you want
Brush instances in by hand for a flower-lined path or moss on one side of a rock, with erase and re-roll to hand.
It follows the ground
Drop a scatter onto terrain and it settles into every contour, standing out of the slope rather than through it.
Several brushes per scene
One for ground cover, one for rocks, one for flowers — each with its own palette and its own feel.
Control
Enough variation to look unplanned
Weighted palettes
Mostly grass, the occasional flower. Weight each source and the mix comes out looking natural.
Jitter with a name
Uniform, Subtle, Natural, Varied or Wild — one click for how much size, rotation and colour should wander.
Promote one to a character
Detach any painted instance into a real object with its own behaviours, when one of the crowd needs to do something.
Identical for your viewers
Scattered layouts come from a fixed seed and instances are batched on the GPU, so what you arrange is what they see — and it stays fast.
